Party Entertainment Makes Your Event Shine



Ever been at a party where the entertainment just made the party go from fun to boring in a matter of minutes? Well this is what could happen if you don’t choose the right DJ for your party.

Everyone knows that the DJ can make or break the party but how do you know which entertainment is right for you? Here are a couple of ways to choose the right entertainment for your party!

Reputation – first you will need to do some research on DJs that are known for bringing great entertainment to the party scene. You can ask your friends or co-workers if they have any recommendations of a DJ that they have used or know of that have a great reputation for making a party go from 0 to 100.

A DJ with a good reputation will have the experience, time management and the tools to rock a party with a solid songs list and good speakers.

Some venues will have a house DJ and offer a discounted rate for using their services. Ask about that option when researching. 

Music Collection- find out what music the DJ has in his/hers songs lists and if the DJ allows customizable music made by the hosts for the party. Just ask the DJ if you can give him/her a song list or types of genres you prefer to be played.

Pair Your Entertainer With Your Audience – when choosing the right DJ for you party you must look for an entertainer that will match your audience interests not just your own. Some genres that you prefer may not be what your guests will enjoy so this is something to look into. Pick different genres that each person from the party will enjoy and keep the party going!

Make sure you let the DJ know how much interacting you like.... some folks just like the DJ to mix background music, others like the DJ to be more of an entertainer. This could affect your rate, so make sure you understand if they will include an MC to interact or if the DJ handles that as well.
