Memorial Day Weekend is one of the most exciting weekends of the year because it’s the weekend that screams, “HELLO SUMMER!” Getting together with friends and family while eating tasty food and yummy drinks is a big part of the holiday but no party is ready without fun and easy decorations!

The colors of Memorial Day are the famous red, white and blue colors of our very own American flag. The decorations for the party don’t have to be extravagant but can be simple enough where they still look tasteful.



Here are 5 easy and fun decorations for your Memorial Day Bash!
1.     Bandana Table Runners
·      Bandanas come in all different designs and colors and if you look hard enough you should be able to find an American flag one! You can put these runners at the sit down tables, food buffet table, dessert table, the bar, and if your adding something extra to your party, such as a candy buffet, you can put the bandanas on there as well.
2.     Red, White, and Blue Flower Centerpieces
·      Flowers are a bright and tasteful centerpiece idea where they are nice to look at and won’t make a huge mess.
3.     DIY Red and Blue Mason Jars
·      To make the mason jars, use tissue paper and mod podge to stick (from Michaels or any craft store) and then add a battery-operated candle to brighten the Mason jar. You can scatter these around the room to brighten up the ambiance!
4.     Red, White & Blue Streamers
·      Streamers are an easy and simple way to decorate the room.  You can put the streamers at the entrance, hang them around the room, or you can use them as garland for the tables.
5.     Flags
·      You can’t forget the most important decoration of them all, The American Flag! They come in all sizes and you can use them for anything around the room. For example, use an American Flag as a banner.
